Sustainability is embedded in the way we work throughout Cleveland Bridge. We have developed a comprehensive sustainability charter, setting objectives and KPIs for every area of the business, including services, products, environment, health, safety and wellbeing, compliance and community engagement.

For us, sustainability goes beyond taking care of the environment; it means creating a robust, profitable, sustainable business for future generations. A business that operates with minimal impact on the environment, of course, but also one that has the expertise, products, skills and resources to thrive, grow and provide employment long onto the future. Our mission is to offer the best value products and services on the market, offering a collaborative based solution to improving quality and lead time in a value engineered way.
We respect our environment and want to be seen as industry leaders in significantly reducing the carbon footprint of our products and services.
We want to be known in our industry as a safe place to work and one that values wellbeing. Health and Safety is critical, but the wellbeing both physically and mentally is of equal importance.
Our purpose is to deliver a secure, respectful work environment which values effort and promotes development. We run a STEPS programme (Supporting Talent, Enhancing People, Sustainably) , which helps us build a sustainable business for the future by providing targeted training, advice and career progression.
Our ethical principles are also set out in our fair and transparent recruitment process and in a range of company policies designed to ensure ethical compliance. These include modern slavery, anti-bribery and corruption, GDPR, equality and diversity, among others. To help embed these values into the business, we have run training workshops for all employees.
