Every bridge was completed on schedule despite challenging weather conditions

Solution

Managing each installation programme involved close collaboration with the main contractor and local authorities, careful route planning and good communication with residents to manage expectations and minimise disruption.

Challenges

A major challenge for the entire project was the remote location and difficult access to many bridge sites. The bridges were also installed during severe winter weather, which required ingenuity, dedication and experience to ensure the bridges were completed on schedule.

Outcomes

Cleveland Bridge completed every bridge on schedule, despite challenging site and weather conditions. The company was even able to shave days off the planned installation time on some bridges by working through the night while overcoming extreme weather.

Cleveland Bridge’s willingness to collaborate with the project team, combined with their determination and ingenuity in overcoming challenges as they arose, ensured the successful delivery of this complex programme.
