Inverness Campus footbridge is a new 84m long pedestrian and cycle bridge installed over the A9, linking Inverness city to the Inverness Campus development. The main bridge girders were delivered to site as pairs with lengths up to 36m. The steelwork was offloaded and fully assembled offline on CBUK’s modular trestle system adjacent to the A9.

CBUK commenced on site in mid January 2013 and erected main steelwork onto assembly trestles with main girders and crossbeams installed over a 6 day period followed by installation of steel deck panels and cladding support steel work installed over the next 2 week period. All works were completed by early February 2013.
