About the project

The Pierre Laporte Bridge is a six-lane, 1040n long suspension bridge which crosses the St.Lawrence river in Quebec City. Supported by 2,110m high towers and with a central span of 670m, it is the longest main span suspension bridge in Canada.

Cleveland Bridge were responsible for the supply of trusses, cable and decking; contributing 26,700te of steel to the project.
