Newtown Bypass

Project Completed: 2018

About the project

The Welsh Government built a 6.5km bypass to the south of Newtown in mid-Wales to alleviate congestion on this primary route between north and south Wales.

Alun Griffiths appointed Cleveland Bridge to fabricate, assemble and install the seven new bridges required along the route of the bypass to negotiate roads, valleys, and railways.
