About the project

The Howrah Bridge located in West Bengal India is a santilever bridge with a suspended span over the Hooghly river. It carries daily traffic of around 100,000 vehicles. The central span is more than 450m and the contrsuction method was similar to the one used to build the Sydney Hardbour Bridge.
