The implementation of our comprehensive quality assurance services significantly reduces the risks of manufacturing and construction failures impacting on the viability and safety of our projects. Achieving the highest industry standard certifications cannot be done without clear ownership of the processes and a culture of continuous improvement. We operate a quality management system which exceeds the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2015, against which we are audited by SCCS. We implement a regular programme of internal audits to ensure compliance. All findings are seen as Opportunities for Improvement, which are fed back into the business systems and processes.
Our Structural Steelwork is CE marked in accordance with BS EN 1090-1 and has the ability / capability to meet BS EN 1090-2 Execution Classes 1 to 4. Our quality systems and standards are aligned with all statutory legislation and approved Codes of Practice. They are approved to ISO 9001:2015 by SCCS (Steel Construction Certification Scheme) and ISO 3834 Pt2 by The Welding Institute (TWI). We are certified by SCCS to ‘CE mark’ Cleveland Bridge steelwork in accordance with the Construction Products Directive standard EN1090 for all execution classes.
Qualified Steelwork Contractors Scheme (RQSC)
We are registered with the Register of Qualified Steelwork Contractors Scheme (RQSC) certifying our competence to carry out major steelwork projects. We have certification for Bridgeworks and Buildings, meaning we are certified to undertake the fabrication and the responsibility for any design and erection of one or more Bridgework Categories and Contract Value over £6m.
