Innovations in Steel Construction
Building large-scale, complex structures requires high-quality materials, engineering ingenuity, and project management expertise.
Founded in the UK in 1877, our company has a long track record of innovation in the steel industry, we solve problems, save time, costs and resources for our clients, whilst improving safety and environmental performance. We can innovate in many ways, for instance, through early engagement we can reverse engineer the architect’s vision, improving the build process and temp works solutions. Through collaborative working we can help our clients to significantly reduce the programme or increase the level of off-site manufacturing. Practical examples include reducing on-site welding, maximising on-site fabrication and reducing logistic movements. To improve cost efficiencies, we regularly invest in capital improvements to our manufacturing process to drive improved material handling efficiency.
Sustainable thinking
For us, sustainability goes beyond taking care of the environment; it means creating a robust, profitable, sustainable business for future generations. A business that operates with minimal impact on the environment, of course, but also one that has the expertise, products, skills and resources to thrive, grow and provide employment long onto the future.
Our people are our strength
The health, wellbeing and happiness of our people are central to our success. We are constantly developing our benefits package, with an emphasis on wellbeing. The benefits of giving people a better work-life balance are borne out in the levels of engagement, productivity and enthusiasm we see among our teams.
