In September 2011, Cleveland Bridge UK Ltd signed a contract with the Ministry of Economic Development in Sri Lanka to provide up to 210 bridges in rural locations island-wide. The project, worth £ 35m, will be funded by the UK Government’s Export Credit Guarantee Department (ECGD).

Forth Crossing Bridge Constructors (FCBC) an international consortium consisting of Hochtief Solutions, American Bridge, Dragados & Morrison Construction have recently awarded Darlington engineering company Cleveland Bridge UK Limited a major contract for the fabrication delivery and site assembly of the North and South approach viaduct steelwork as part of the new £790m Forth Replacement Crossing.

CBUK have been awarded a contract for the supply of 5 bridges, totalling some 1600 tonnes of structural steelwork. The heaviest of these is a 104m long 2 span truss bridge weighing in at 670 tonnes. This bridge is to be constructed off line and launched under possession across the railway lines immediately over the existing Nottingham railway station.
