Short and Medium Span Bridges

Cleveland Bridge has a long and distinguished history of bridge engineering and construction. Our skills reflect that tradition and allow us to meet the complete range of client's needs today for road and railway bridges. Most of today's small and medium-span bridges using structural steel employ composite construction with plate girders in various forms. For longer spans and for higher value bridges on landmark sites, there is a demand for arches, trusses, box girders and innovative forms.

M65 Blackburn Southern By-pass, England

Cleveland Bridge has the in-house engineering and project management capability to meet all these requirements with first-class performance.

Our speciality is to provide the comprehensive bridge-building service for the more complex and challenging designs as well as the general range of plate girder bridges. Our work on major structures such as suspension bridges and wide-span roofs has given us the experience to fabricate and engineer construction for the smaller bridges on the most difficult sites.

We provide expertise and plant for techniques such as strand-jacking, launching, slide-in and heavy lifts.
