A design and construction of two Roll-on Roll-off bridge systems for the Western Docks, Dover. Each deck is 54m x 9m and as individual components weigh 64te each. The dolphins weigh 150te

1982 Thames Barrier, London, England
Supply and erection of 9,600 tonnes of fabricated steel gates, plus installation of mechanical and hydraulic operating machinery
1991 Faslane Ship Lift, Scotland

Manufacture and installation of primary shiplift steelwork comprising 72 tonne main transfer beam, articulated units and cast hanger beams.  Total project tonnage 4,126 tonnes.

1992 Faslane Transfer System, Scotland

Manufacture, installation, commission and testing of transfer system including 77 transfer cradles.  Total project tonnage 1,150 tonnes.

1994 Colne Barrier, Essex, England

As mechanical, hydraulic and electrical specialist subcontractor, designed, manufactured, installed, tested and commissioned the gates and their operating and control systems

2000 Colne Barrier Maintenance, Essex, England

Cleveland Bridge’s scope was to plan, prepare, unstep and step 2 No. Mitre Gates including maintenance on the sill flap mechanism and re-commissioning.
